As my senior year comes to a close, I have been seeking God about next steps. I have invested time pondering if my next step is college or take a year off, long story short I'm taking a year off from traditional studies. However, with being a Christian for two years now, I am moved most for people who do not know Jesus. When I turn 21, I plan to be an oversea missionary, until then, I am going on mission trips to gain experience. While I am in my waiting season, I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Nigeria over the summer to evangelize to people who do not know Jesus and minister to the ones who do.

The team I will be working alongside is with CARE Africa, who strengthens education, provides mentorship, and shares God's love in the most meaningful and practical ways. Our team will mainly be in the school setting which I am passionate about. You may not know but I have both dyslexia and dysgraphia, and I completed the Barton Program to help me learn strategies to read, comprehend, and write spatially. I hope to share what I've learned with others that have learning differences so they can gain confidence in completing schoolwork. In the afternoons, we will have fellowship time with the kids and community spreading God's truth and love. And lastly, we will be ministering to patients in the hospital with also providing food packages for them.

I am raising funds to cover essential travel expenses, school supplies, and educational materials. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of the children in Egbe. It will also create opportunities in the school setting and impact the community with the love of Jesus. With your support, it will help me be able to spread God's love to those who need it the most. Through your contributions, and God's guiding path for me, together we can expand inclusive and fair practices where every child feels valued and supported.
