Folorunsho is a single orphan, meaning she has lost 1 parent. Her mother is still living. A teacher from a local school approached C.A.R.E. Africa staff. The teacher said she had a very intelligent little girl living next door to her. She said the child's mother had 5 other children and whose father had abandoned them. The teacher loved this little girl and knew she could go far in life if she just had a chance. 

When C.A.R.E. staff met Folorunso and realized how bright she was, we knew we had to give her this opportunity! She has a beautiful smile that never leaves her face. Once in C.A.R.E.'s program, she excelled in secondary school and always helped with the other kids. She is now enrolled at Polytechnic University and continues to earn high marks. Her mother still struggles to care for her other children, but we always watch and pray to God for continued ways to empower the entire family. Thank you for sponsoring Folorunso!
