Joseph lives with his grandmother in Oke Ere, a very rural village about 30 minutes away from the C.A.R.E Africa center in Egbe, Nigeria. They live in the house of his late grandfather. The grandmother supports herself by selling soy beans.
Joseph's parents live in Lagos, a large city many hours away. While pregant, Joseph's mother came to stay with the grandmother in Oke Ere. After giving birth, the mother abandoned the infant with the grandmother.
With your sponsorship, Joseph will be able to go to school, receive all needed school supplies, uniform, sandals, and small provisions. C.A.R.E Africa also provides for the families and care givers of our students. Thank you for making a difference in their lives by being Joseph's sponsor.
